John "Jack" Bergan has been my personal mechanic for over twelve years. During this time, he has consistently proven himself to be a person of intense knowledge regarding automotive mechanics. He is an outstanding diagnostician, always taking the time and effort to find and correct any mechanical problem. Furthermore, he enjoys taking the time to fully explain existing mechanical situations including what needs to be done to correct any problem and to maintain high-quality engine care. In addition to his keen tenacity regarding automotive care and maintenance, I haved found Mr. Bergan to be a person of great integrity and organizational skills, never charging unreasonable fees for parts and labor in his garage, which he keeps imaculately clean and orderly.
My personal mechanical problems have been very few due to Mr. Bergan's preventive approach to mechanical care. However, on a recent puzzling event that involved the unexpected loss of a rod in the engine of a low-mileage automobile that had received superb and consistent preventive care and maintenance, Mr. Bergan unselfishly took his personal time to work with a dealership, regional manager, and the corporate manufacturer of the automobile to achieve the best possible resolution for me.
Mr. Bergan's move from the metropolitan Atlanta area is an immense personal and technical loss to my family and myself. He will be a marvelous asset in any mechanical endeavor that he seeks to pursue.
